How to set up a system

Install a ready-made job, check it, turn it on.

Kuan

A system in Xevol is a job that does one piece of work for your business: a weekly brief on your competitors, a week of LinkedIn posts from your site, notes from your calls. It runs on a schedule or when something happens, and it asks you before anything goes out.

In this guide you install one and turn it on.

Before you start

You need an active Workspace. Only the Workspace's owner can install a job. Sign in at xevol.com/sign-in.

1. Pick a job

Browse the store at xevol.com, or open Automations → Jobs in your Workspace. Each job says what it does, which apps it uses, what you need to connect and what you approve.

2. Install it

Press Install and fill in what the job asks for, such as the competitors to watch or the account to post to. If it needs a connected account, connect it in Settings first.

The job arrives as a draft automation. Some jobs also create an Agent that does the work.

3. Check the draft and turn it on

Open the draft under Automations, read its steps and triggers, then press Activate draft. From then on it runs by itself. Press Start run to try it at once, or Pause it at any time.

4. Approve what goes out

Anything the job wants to send or publish waits for you: in your Inbox, or in the app it belongs to, such as Social for posts. Each run and its result is listed on the automation's page.

Something that isn't in the store?

Some items in the store are marked Set up with you: we set those up together. For anything else, write to [email protected] with the work you want done.
