So, let’s start with the common ground.

Life is not fair. You were born where you were born. You had parents that you had or had not. Fairness is not a universal principle. It’s not fair that gazelles have to die for lions to be fed either but we accept it is a part of nature.

That’s the only thing I’m asking of you before reading this book. I ask you to accept that global markets, political situation, quality of life, life expectancy are all outcomes of something that is not fundamentally fair. You as an individual had no say and you don’t represent the rest of population of whatever city you’re from. Yes, you might share cultural values, you might share taste and cuisine. You might even wear national attire. None of that means that you have to think and behave like the rest of your peers.

This book is for a rational mind which thinks about self-preservation, about the upper edge, about the ace up your sleeve, your white picket fence, lovely home and a hound. Your fortress of solitude. This book has a lot to do with the USA also known as the financial center of the world.

Open World, No Quests?

Even with the challenges the world faced in the 2020s, it's a golden age for global adventurers. The independence and freedom once deemed a dream are now very much within reach. It’s mainstream.

Travelling the world without personal mission feels like an open world game without any quests. I don’t know what is your mission, I don’t care really. What I care about is making sure your inventory is full of potions, mana and HP. This book succeeds if you have gotten more mana.
