Community Rules
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These rules apply to every community on Xevol, on top of our Terms of Service. A community's owner can add stricter rules of its own. Each owner runs its own community, so its moderators are the first people to ask.
What is not allowed
Illegal content, or helping anyone break the law.
Sexual content involving anyone under 18. We remove it, close the account and report it.
Threats and violence: threatening or encouraging harm, or supporting violent or terrorist groups.
Harassment and hate: targeting a person, or attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
Other people's private information, posted without their permission.
Other people's work: content you have no right to share.
Fraud and deception: scams, false claims about money or health, or pretending to be a person, a company or Xevol.
Spam: unwanted promotion, repeated posts, or fake accounts, likes or points.
Sexually explicit material of any kind.
Harmful jobs and files: anything that attacks a system, hides what it does, or takes people's data without permission.
Reporting something
If you are a member, use Report on the post or comment. It goes to that community's moderators.
Anyone can write to us at [email protected], member or not. Tell us:
the address of the page, post or community;
what is wrong, and why you believe it is illegal or breaks these rules;
your name and email address, unless the report concerns child sexual abuse material;
that you believe what you have told us is accurate.
We confirm that we received your report, and tell you what we decided.
Copyright complaints
Send a complaint to [email protected], or by post to the address below. It must include your signature; the work you say was copied; where the copy is on Xevol; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your complaint is accurate and that you act for the rights holder.
If your content was removed and you think that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature; what was removed and where it was; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe it was removed by mistake; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, or, outside the United States, any place where we can be found. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
What happens next
A community's moderators can remove a post, and can remove or ban a member. The person affected gets the reason by email. We can remove content, restrict a community, or suspend an account. When we act, we tell the person affected what we did and why, and how to challenge it, unless the law or safety prevents it.
If you disagree
Ask the community's owner first. To challenge something we decided, write to [email protected] within six months and a person who did not make the decision will look at it.
Legal contacts
Authorities and courts can reach us at [email protected], in English. Our postal address is Thinking Systems, LLC, 2093 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, USA.
